Single review 'Runaround' by Helena Mace

Updated: Nov 12, 2019

In this track Helena is relaying about how she is feeling overwhelmed with this situation she finds herself. She speaks of a longing to slow down with her life which is seemingly too fast to cope. Helena makes a more poignant reference to a relationship, about how she feels too pressured now compared to when she 1st met this new love interest. Helena regrets falling for this love interest quite so readily, questioning why she stood by his every word as gospel. There is almost a conflict of interest in her mind because Helena questions what is the point but then this love interest delivers a single kiss which helps change her mind; psychological mind games!

Helena’s vocal’s are very mature in this track and the melody that accompanies this track is subtlety positive
