Recorded entirely during lockdown 'Wild World' is a ballad. It tells of the conversation a mother has when she gives sound advice to her son and her hopes for him.
With Scott's vocal just backed very simply with acoustic guitar and piano with some harmonies to fill the sound out 'Wild World' has a stripped back unfussy feel to it. The instrumentation gently builds as it meanders along, before a very subtle tambourine is introduced into the mix just to finish the song off perfectly.
'Wild World' is a very modern sounding country song with universal appeal and it is available on all digital platforms now.
Scott is one of the UK's rising country artists, and earlier this year he became an unofficial ambassador for British country music with a recent appearance on Channel 4’s reality show '5 Guys A Week' where he bared his soul whilst playing his guitar.
He subsequently stole the hearts of the nation in the hit show 'Gogglebox' and says he was very proud to be flying the flag for British country music.
