First Thoughts Review: 'Cinderella' by Scott Nicholls

First Thoughts Review:

Released on 30th March 'Cinderella' is a love song and the guy really can't believe his luck that the girl is his. It is one of those songs that instantly gets into your head. It has a really catchy tune and is ultra modern country in its arrangement that lends itself well to Scott's vocal.

'Cinderella' is a great song that will enhance your music library.

A Bit About The Artist:

After flying the flag for UK Country music on Channel 4’s 5 Guys a Week, rising star Scott Nicholls is set to release his second single Cinderella on the 30th March.

Described as a “bolt from the blue”, 'Cinderella' was written about Scott’s admiration for the love his parents have for each other:

“I’ve never really had that kind of love, all of my relationships I base on whether I’m anywhere close to theirs”

'Cinderella' is the follow up to Scott’s debut single 'On Fire' which received widespread acclaim, enjoying airplay on Country Hits, Chris Country and culminated in a massive debut full band performance at The Troubadour in West London.

Over recent weeks, Scott has also become an unofficial ambassador for UK Country music; with a recent guitar strumming, soul baring appearance on Channel 4’s 5 Guys A Week and subsequently stealing the hearts of the nation in the hit show Gogglebox. His social media has been 'On Fire' with praise for him proudly flying the flag for UK Country music.

Scott was gearing up for a massive summer of festivals, but unfortunately due to Coronavirus those plans have been put on hold. However, Scott’s momentum still shows no signs of slowing down with this huge song 'Cinderella' and accompanying intimate acoustic performance shot in the heart of Soho.

'Cinderella' is out 30th March on all digital platforms.
