‘A smoky sounding, but powerful voice...the female Luke Combs’
Charlotte Young is a country singer-songwriter from Birmingham. Charlotte takes influence from classic country artists such as Dolly Parton and Johnny Cash, whilst combining it with modern artists of today such as Luke Combs & Miranda Lambert, creating a unique and distinct punchy sound.
Charlotte’s debut single ‘Whiplash’ tells the tale of an indecisive love, somebody who just can not make up their mind whether that person is worth it despite all the tribulations they’ve been through and somebody just not following through on what they’ve said.
Talking of the single, Charlotte states:
I can not wait for people to hear this debut as I feel it shows something a little different. I really want people to connect and relate to the song and find comfort in it or just jam out!
