Single review 'Walk Away' by Eric Walker

The opening lyrics explain just how tough it has been to get through the problems they have experienced as a couple. The line in which he recalls that he is surprised they even got to this point in their relationship reinforces why they want to concentrate on remembering the good times they have together; the cheerful melody with it’s gentle rocking beat also suggests this. Eric describes about making the most of the positive situations so that there will be many happy memories to reflect on. The title of the song will possibly lead the listener to expect a different outcome with the lyrics. It is reassuring how the story unfolds though and is not based on a break up of a relationship.
