Nia Nicholls the Southern England charm, brings us her latest single Jessica, where Nia had the honour and privilege of writing Jessica in the 'Home of Country Music' - Nashville last September.
Jessica as I listen to this beautiful song, I can already feel that it's a song that was so beautifully written by Nia. The story of Jessica really gets to me because it's one of those situations where you're trying to help a friend, and then your heart ends up falling for the piece of the puzzle your trying to put back together, but then that puzzle piece becomes further away from fitting into place.
Nia's letter to Jessica is so beautiful, the power of words in a letter can be like magic, sometimes it's the words on the paper is when the apology can be at it's most purist. Feelings are an all too well complicated world that everyone lives with.
I feel with this song, there will be many listeners who have been in a similar situation where love can cause a friendship to fracture at the same time. I can personally relate to this song, I found that my feelings for someone were surfacing for a friend, who had broken up from someone who I call a really good friend. My heart was trying to repair one, and ended up falling for the heart I was trying to help heal, I am sure I won't be the first person to experience this, and I am sure Nia's heart was in the right place, but the feelings were in the wrong place, but felt right for Nia.
Now I am about to compare Nia and the single Jessica, but it's something I don't like to do because, I believe that everyone is there own person, and has their own unique style, however as the lyrics of Jessica are sung by the voice of Nia, I can feel the voice of Taylor Swift as she sings 'All Too Well'. That for me is how beautiful Nia's voice and the song Jessica are.
LOVE, & FEELINGS...ARE COMPLICATED AND WE CANNOT HELP WHO WE FALL IN LOVE, EVEN IF IT DOES, COME WITH SACRIFICE....WE HAVE TO DO WHAT'S RIGHT FOR OUR HEART
