Taynee Lord & The Crookes New Single “No God Of Mine” is now available to Pre-Order on iTunes.
Release Date 10th April
Taynee wrote 'no god of mine' when she suddenly realised all her failed past relationships shared the same zodiac sign & bad traits.
Everybody knows someone who is arrogant enough to think they’re God’s gift.
The song is inspired by a guy whose charm works wonders on many but when faced with someone who isn’t falling for his usual games, he isn’t too sure how to handle her.
Taynee Lord & The Crookes give you music for sunsets and highways from Bristol to Nashville, with their high-octane country pop.
At age 10 Taynee watched Dolly Parton live in Cardiff - this performance changed everything! It catapulted Taynee into the world of Country music from which she hasn’t looked back.
In late 2018 Taynee formed the band in Bristol with Rich Crossley (guitars/mandolin), Christian Spreadbury (guitars), Zach Bartlett (bass/keys) and Josh Miller (drums/ percussion).
Having recorded their debut EP 'If Only' in January 2019, the band’s single ‘Blue Jeans’ made its radio debut on BBC Radio Bristol on the Steve Yabsley show.
A nomination for British Country AirPlay Artiste of The Year 2019 followed.
Taynee Lord & The Crookes featured on the UK Americana Bar Show on Sky TV playing three live tracks.
The band have just finished recording their second EP with producer Gareth Young at Cube Studios in Cornwall, with the first release set to be ‘No God of Mine’.
Upcoming festival performances (subject to current restrictions) for 2020 include Buckle and Boots Country Music Festival, The Godney Gathering, Ramblin' Roots Revue and more.
