First Thoughts Review - Paper Ships’ by Kete Bowers

My very first thought on hearing the 'Paper Ships' album is how deep Kete Bowers vocal is. His thoughtful, sincere lyrics tell thought provoking stories.
'A Place By The River' immediately took me to a cowboy campfire. 'A Fine Day To Leave' stripped back to just vocal with a lone guitar which works so well.
Lovely simplistic instrumentation throughout this Americana album draws the listeners ear to the melancholy stories being told.
Released in September 2019 'Paper Ships' is available on all digital platforms.
