First Thoughts Review: 'Maybe Later' by Phil Hooley

'Maybe Later' has a traditional country feel. Tinkling piano, jaunty whistling for the outro, dominant guitar riff, understated drums all held together by a warm, comfortable vocal that belongs to songwriter Phil Hooley.

Definitely a song to chill out too. I can visualise myself curling up on the settee with a glass of red wine, an open fire warming my slipperless toes whilst listening to this track.

'Maybe Later' tells of the insecurities of an artist wanting to exhibit what he has produced to the world but then putting it off because he doesn't think the time is right.

Add 'Maybe Later' to your music library to make the stresses and strains of the day simply melt away.
