First Thoughts Review: 'Love Machine' by The Rising
The single is a country re-imagining of the 2004 Girls Aloud hit “Love Machine” and I can imagine Chantelle flat on her back on the floor trying to catch her breath after singing it as its full on non stop from start to finish. I am breathless just listening to it. Better leave it for the encore haha. It seems to really work as a country song and has a slight bluegrassy feel about it and I think it will go down a storm live as people won't be expecting it.
Chris and Chantelle were inspired to release a studio version of 'Love Machine' after a BBC Introducing session where they performed it and it created quite a buzz and was played across many regional BBC Radio networks.
'Love Machine' is the first song to be released in a new monthly single release strategy being implemented by the duo.
It will be released on 21st Feb 2020 and is available to Pre-Save on Spotify now so don't forget to reserve your copy. Your music library will be lacking without it.
