FBC First Thoughts Review
Boxes are a completely new band to me. Based in Manchester they are lucky as the British country music scene is thriving there.
Dobro combined with subtle Lap steel introduces 'Electric Lights' perfectly making the listener want to keep listening to find out more. It's the only country song I know that has what I can only describe as a radio type announcement in the middle. It works very well within this catchy uptempo song.
Great musicianship and great harmonies. I strongly suggest checking 'Electric Lights' out and give Boxes a follow.

About The Band
Boxes are a Country Rock band based in Manchester, UK. With a focus on lyrics, harmonies and riffs.
All current members of the band live within the city centre of Manchester, but the roots of the band grew in The Lake District with David and Tom being from the South Lake’s town of Ulverston.
