Review of MHMG Artists at Buckle & Boots.

I have known EMMA JADE since 2014 and have seen her perform many times since then, usually solo with a guitar. Last year she released her 'Older Now' EP and the songs on it are great. Emma always delivers them with such emotion. She is now backed by a band and her performances and stagecraft has taken her to the next level.

I always look forward to seeing a performance by KIRA MAC. Whether she is rocking it out with her band or singing with another guitarist or as a solo performer Kira's voice is always stunning. Performing solo on this occasion, Kira performed some new songs and some firm favourites. We also had a lovely time when she came to record an acoustic session for us so look out for that.

STEVIE O'CONNOR performed on the main stage for us this year. Switching between guitar and banjo, Stevie and his band put on a very energetic performance. Delivering his songs with enthusiasm, he always manages to get the crowd going. You will be able to buy his music this summer. No firm release date yet but we will keep you posted.

My friend ALAN FINLAN blew the roof off the Paddock stage this year. With his new band behind him and his growing confidence Alan is a serious contender. He had been playing guitar in the camping field and going round introducing himself to festival goers all weekend and it paid off, because they all turned out to support him and the tent was rammed. He had one of the biggest crowds of any artist over the whole weekend. He gave a very energetic, but honest performance and he had that crowd in the palm of his hand. His debut ep will be available to purchase very soon and I for one am looking forward to owning it.
