Single Review - 'Moving On' by The Rising

The Rising based in Belfast, Northern Ireland has 3 core members:- Chantelle McAteer who has an unmistakable, instantly recognisable power house of a voice. Chris Logan on guitars mandolin and banjo and Brian Mellors on bass. All have a hand in writing and producing their music.

'Moving On' is the title track of an already released album which came out at the end of last year. It is a break up country pop song in the vain of Taylor Swift. The story goes that she is fed up with the constant arguing. It is time for her to be 'Moving On'.

It has power, it has passion and it has superb musicianship throughout with a great rocky style guitar solo. This song is really uplifting and just makes you want to get on your feet and dance.

'Moving On' was released on 17th May and is available to stream or download on all online music platforms. It definitely needs adding to your music library.
