'Close To Feeling' by Jon Dearing
I love the way 'Close To Feeling' starts. Stripped back with just a guitar and vocal, you never know quite what to expect. Then it begins to build showing off Jon's superb vocal range.
This is a beautiful, country influenced ballad, with a cracking rock influenced guitar solo.
Should he walk away as the relationship cools or is it worth fighting for. He doesn't know which way to turn but he knows he wants a less complicated lifestyle. I think we have all been there at one time or another so I think everyone can totally relate to the lyrics in this song wholeheartedly.
