London singer-songwriter Binky, has an enviable drive for success matched only by her musical ability and infectious personality. In the past few years, she’s managed to cement her place as one of the country’s most prominent new names in Country and Pop music. Critically acclaimed tracks and performances have been backed up by overwhelming support on streaming platforms, leading to sold-out live dates. The potential for greatness was realised at the tender age of 15 where Binky had been studying Music, Dance and Drama for a number of years. A big fan of a number of different genres and styles, it was country music that really caught her attention.

“The first time I sang a country song it was like putting on the most perfect pair of shoes, I haven’t looked back since”.

Fast-forward to 2013 and Binky has been invited on Sky TV’s “The Smith & Rogers Country Show” as a guest. Little did she know, she was soon asked to come on board as a full-time presenter. It was a role the relished, bringing a youthful personality and exuberance to the performance every episode. Following the show’s success, she decided to take the leap towards recording her first studio album. Again, throwing herself into daunting situations, she was given the opportunity to work with original Rat Pack member Buddy Greco, as well as Blue Mink’s Madeline Bell.

“I grabbed the opportunities with both hands and wasn’t letting go, my journey was becoming better than I had ever imagined and I wasn’t stopping there.”

Travelling to Nashville and experiencing Country music’s roots and heritage only inspired the young songwriter further, to the point where she wanted to combine the UK sound with the authenticity of what she experienced in Nashville. The first track to come from this fusion was the incredible debut “Fireflies”. A joyous slice of summer, the track is now approaching 300K streams on Spotify as well as a number 8 debut chart position on iTunes. She followed up with the anthemic “Jackie D” and “Get Lost”, cementing her place as one of the countries most exciting new crossover country artists.

2019 sees Binky release a string of singles as well as increasing her live presence with a number of shows with her full band. The first musical outing is the affecting “Don’t Let Go” - A departure from previous, urban-country releases, it’s a piano-led single with emotive crescendos providing the foundation for Binky’s distinctive vocal. On the new track, Binky states. “This song really is my baby. It fell together so quickly and I instantly knew it was something special. I have kept it under my sleeve for 3 years, but now I am ready to share it with you all. I feel that it’s time to share the other side of my music with you all”
