Wolverhampton Country Night

I was really looking forward to this evening. These regular country nights in Wolverhampton are awesome.

First up this evening were Remember Monday. We first met these ladies at FSA Fest when they did an acoustic session for us. Charlotte Steele, Holly-Anne Hull and Lauren Byrne have been singing together for 7 years and their vocal harmonies are stunning. They are accompanied on Cajon by Nuwan Hugh Perera . They treated us to their new single 'Drive' produced by Tim from The Wandering Hearts and released on 21st October I believe. They also covered The Dixie Chicks and Seals 'A Kiss From A Rose' which I absolutely loved.

Next up was Dan Hartland. He is new to me but I wasn't disappointed. He was very entertaining when he explained why guitars sounded different. He writes his own material and picks a mean guitar too. He also did a cover. You would never think you could make this song sound any good but I really liked his version of karma chameleon much better than the original.

And last but by no means least a band I have been wanting to see for a long time. Cinder Hill. Hayley and Katie are identical twins although I now know how to tell them apart lol. They are accompanied by Deon Looker on the guitar. They have always sung together but only in the last couple of years have they been writing their own songs. I really enjoyed their whole set especially a song called 'The Proof' which was written for their parents and is on their 'Fairytales EP.

The next Wolverhampton Country Night is on Saturday 27th October. See you there.
