Nashville Sounds In The Round was held at the Kitchen Garden Café in Birmingham. This was my first visit to this small venue, there were about 60 seats and from my position it seemed to be full. The sound was very good considering the odd shape of the venue.
The line up consisted of Gasoline & Matches, a duo on this occasion. Great harmonies and guitar playing from Steve.
Gary Quinn BCMA vocalist of the year, Gary sang some of his self penned fan favourites.
Stevie O’Connor a new artist on the UK scene. Stevie has a strong traditional Texas feel. He sang 5 self penned songs, including the emotional Willow and finishing on a Cody Jinks song. Going by the number of people wanting to talk to him Stevie has a bright future on the scene.
Finally Two Ways Home, a UK/Austrian duo. Fine harmonies on their self penned songs.
