Ashton lane at The Castle, Manchester 18/2/18

Tonights gig was my first time seeing Ashton Lane at a sold out Castle Hotel.

Opening tonight was Stevie O'Connor playing an acoustic set of self penned songs. I really enjoy Stevie’s brand of modern traditional style of country music.

Next was Demi Marriner with Robbie Cavanagh on guitar, bass drum and tambourine.

Demi set consisted off a couple of songs from her last ep dandelion plus 3 or 4 new tracks from her next ep.

Now it was time for the headline act Ashton Lane. A family trio from Scotland consisting of husband and wife Tim and Esther and Esther’s father Graham. If he looks familiar it's because he was in Wet Wet Wet. Their set was comprised off good self penned country pop, with one cover, the Civil Wars From This Valley.

All in all a very enjoyable night
