This was my first time at this venue. A lovely pub, The Salty Dog Northwich, and first time seeing Cinder Hill.
Opening was Tim Milligan playing solo. His set was mainly self penned songs.
Tim was his usual polished self.
Then it was time for Cinder Hill. A British female country duo made up of identical twins Katie and Hayley. They were accompanied by guitarist Dion.
They opened up with a cover of Dolly’s Jolene, then their set was a mixture of self penned songs and covers of their favourite songs at roughly fifty fifty.
Their self penned songs stood up well in comparison to the covers. Their voices harmonised beautifully together as you would expect from twins.
If you like top quality modern female country with a nineties touch this is for you.
I loved their whole performance and will search them out again.
