Inspire Music Record Label Launch 10th February 2018

I always look forward to Charlotte-Elizabeth's events. They are always a great success.

Now she has teamed up with Matt Bishop from Honey Ryder to create a Record Label and Artist Management Company.

It all started when they met last year when Charlotte recorded her first ep in Matt's studio. They discovered they had a good working chemistry from the very start. They now have a few standout artists in their stable including The Angels With Dirty Faces, Simon Clewlow, and Lily Garland.

So on to last night....

Ian and I arrived about 6:30pm and met Charlotte in the car park. We went in and the stage was already set up and Simon was just sound checking. He sounded fabulous. Kat Deeds was on door duty and the foyer soon filled up with people. The doors opened just before 7pm.

We had selected a table front centre. The dance floor was between us and the stage. Also unfortunately was the queue for the bar so not quite the view we envisaged.

Charlotte and Matt took to the stage to open the evening. Telling us the story of how they met and decided to work together then a promo video was played.

Also announced last night was their newly formed partnership with Nick Cantwell from Belles & Gals. This new partnership is going to be bringing a range of country gigs to venues all over the country. This is fabulous news.

The first act of the night was the lovely Simon Clewlow. He is fairly new to the uk country music scene but he is fabulous. He co-wrote a song with Charlotte and it charted at number 3 in the iTunes country music chart. just the day before so it was a double celebration last night.

I apologise in advance for my photo's. Luckily our Forever British Country photographer James Deeds was there last night. He took hundreds lol.

Next to wow us were the fabulous Angels With Dirty Faces. This band is sensational. I love their chemistry and energy on stage. There is no denying they love what they do and there is no denying they are one of my favourites. I have known them for almost 2 years now and basically can't get enough of them which is a good thing considering we will be seeing them perform for the next 3 weekends too.

They wowed us with some new material last night too. Their new ep is on its way soon.

The next band to perform were Nixon Tate & The Honey Club. These guys are not country but who cares. I really enjoyed their set. Unfortunately or some may say fortunately lol, I didn't get a photo of these guys.

I am not sure if all of you are aware but Matt Bishop is the guitarist of British country band Honey Ryder and this is the band we had the pleasure of seeing next. Fronted by Lindsay O'Mahony, they sang a selection of songs from all 4 of their albums.

To finish the night off Matt Bishop's band Live Wires took to the stage. They do corporate events so we had a selection of songs from the 80's. They took me back to my teenage years. Again I got no photo I am afraid.

All in all it was a wonderful evening. We chatted to everyone and made new friends afterwards and actually left the venue at about 1.30 in the morning. Quite a lot of us were invited back to Matt's home afterwards tor pizza but in the end we decided to come home. Then we got lost and ended up doing a big circle.

We climbed into bed at 3am. It was a fabulous evening with music to suit all tastes and I look forward to their collaboration with Belles and Gals. They will be coming to a venue near you.
